Errata for the 2003 Review of Particle Physics

During the time between editions of the Review of Particle Physics and the Particle Physics Booklet, we often find a number of errata. We correct most errata on our WWW pages. If you should find errata that are not known to us, please send mail to pdg@lbl.gov.

We present the following errata along with the corrected PostScript and PDF files:

• Pages 64 and 65 of the WWW Listings for B0 Meson     PS     PDF
  • (August 6, 2003): Footnote 480, AFFOLDER 2000N, B0 meson polarization:
    the asymmetric statistical errors for the P-wave fraction are quoted incorrectly:
    

    WRONG:	0.13+0.12-0.9+-0.06
    RIGHT:	0.13+0.12-0.09+-0.06

  • (August 6, 2003): For the parameter chi_d=Delta m(B0)/Gamma(B0)
    The first and Second Evaluations were quoted incorrectly:
    

    WRONG:	0.755+-0.015 OUR EVALUATION First 0.755+-0.015 OUR EVALUATION Second
    RIGHT:	0.771+-0.012 OUR EVALUATION First 0.772+-0.013 OUR EVALUATION Second

    Furthermore, the second paragraph should not read
    WRONG: ... (0.772+-0.013), also provided ...
    but instead:
    RIGHT: ... (0.771+-0.012), also provided ...

  • (August 6, 2003): For the first branching ratio:
    Gamma4/Gamma, OUR EVALUATION was accidently omitted:
    
    • "OUR EVALUATION" is an average of the data listed below performed by the Heavy Flavor Averaging Group (HFAG).
    • 0.1070+-0.0028 OUR EVALUATION
